The Playing to Win™ Strategy to Execution framework used by Scaling-Up! was developed by Moonshi when he was CEO of CommGate. It was adapted from the Playing to Win framework developed by Alan G Lafley, Chairman of P&G.
Moonshi integrates Effective Communications, S.M.A.R.T. model, Asking Clarifying Questions (5W1H), RACI matrix, Eisenhower, 5 Whys, Systems-thinking, Design-thinking, OKRs and several other business and management frameworks to make the Scaling-Up Playing to Win™ Strategy to Execution framework easy to understand and execute.
It all started when Moonshi noticed his ERP business was expensive to deliver for the SME customer segments due to many factors that could not be controlled by the company, with increasing labour costs caused his project margins to suffer.
Over the next two years, Moonshi systematically pivoted the business into an omni-channel e-commerce inventory management system. This allowed them to acquire ecommerce marketplace partnerships that converted into $298m worth of contracts.
This approach became the foundation of the Playing to Win™ Strategy to Execution framework.
Today, this Strategy to Execution framework has been implemented by CEOs & Managing Directors who are operating businesses of $3m – $50m in annual revenue, looking for their next stage growth.
